Mary Maka
I was born in Western Siberia. At the age of five I had a dream to become an artist. My parents helped me develop this passion and inspired my career. Following my dream, I entered the Academy of Arts and Design in my city. Six years of study gave me so much! Most of all I liked the graphics classes. Nature is the main source of inspiration for me, with all its forms and flow. Plants and animals are often in my illustrations. And when I need an interesting hero, I know where to look — the subway. Seriously, it always works! I guess, I met all my characters there. If you combine everything together, you get amazing stories.
Warm and bright, nature inspired illustrations by Mary Maka are full of funny heroes and cute details. As a freelance illustrator Mary works with brands from allover the world, including IT giants and small independent projects.
